Went out to have dinner with Dearie, Collin, Jayne & Albert today. Jennifer was supposed to join us but she got something to attend to and couldn't make it. Well, today, we had a nice and great dinner. Me and Dearie wanted to give them a treat for helping us out in our ROM preparations. As mentioned previously, all had done a great and fantastic job and we were waiting to find a common time for all to meet up and give them a treat for all the help and effort rendered. Jennifer was mentioning about Rajah Inn and I decided to coordinate that as a treat for all of them. Was choosing between going to Tiong Bahru or Marina Square and decided to head to Marina Square instead to try Hotpot Culture since we have not eaten over there before.
Well, Hotpot Culture is the same as Rajah Inn. Both are under the same management but surprisingly, food variety is slightly different. Service is much better over at MS but they do not have free flow drinks. The Fondue that they have was different, ice-cream flavours were different and food layout style was different too! Overall still yummylicious la. Hehe... Dearie will never say "NO" to Rajah Inn cos they got both steamboat and also cooked food. I love to eat Steamboat whereas Dearie loves the cooked food like Bacon wrapped prawns, Rojak Chicken, BBQ Fish, etc. If you all have opportunity to eat at Tiong Bahru, must try the Durian OOzz... which is only available during weekends. It's something like Goreng Pisang but just that, it's in durian paste / liquid flowing out! Hot and super nice and yummy... sometimes it could be sold out as well! So... remember it's a must try on weekends if you happen to go Rajah Inn!
Anyway, enjoyed my dinner a lot. There were so much laughter with them around. Albert was trying to "Suan" me as usual... but today his target included Collin. So funny... was just laughing and laughing through the session. Has been more than 2 weeks since I last seen Jayne. Kinda miss her... last time when she was still in the same company as me, I will see a happy face walking into HR room, asking me if I have taken lunch or offering me food etc. She will also pop in to ask me if I have any programme after work etc and we could just go out shopping or have dinner. Jayne has always been nice to me, treating me and Richard super duper well. Now that she is in another company, time to head out together is much lesser. Really miss those days. Though we still chat over MSN but I will love to head out with her more often. Anyway, I still need to collect some of her clothes from the sprees that we have took part together. Surely will have chances to meet one la. Hehe... Only must find time ba. Wahaha...
Walked around after dinner with Collin as both Jayne and Albert had to leave early to go visit Albert's father. Dearie was talking happily with Collin. Glad that he has opened up and making more friends along the way. At least next time, should we head out as a group, he has more people he could talk to. Sometimes I am worried that he might be bored when heading out with my friends. It takes some time to warm up ba. Same as me... I also take time to warm up and once I am warmed up, I can play like mad one. Hehe... My ex-colleagues always say I will pretend pretend and later on, reveal my foxy tail. Well, this is me ba. Shy at first and dunno what to talk abt mah... :P
2 more days to go before Dearie's eldest bro's customary wedding. I haven't decide what to wear at the dinner wor. I scared later I overdressed or underdressed. Hmm... it's going to be at CSC @ Bukit Batok. What should I wear? Cracking my tiny brains. Late le... I better go off to bed real soon. Was thinking of bring the car to wash tomorrow as it has became dirty due to the rain in the afternoon. Couldn't stand it when the "White Horsey" is turning into "Grey Horsey" with polka dots / patches. Probably should go try the wash and wax at AMK. Hmm... Let me see where I want to head towards first after work tomorrow with Dearie. Asked him to meet me and accompany me to have dinner. Was guessing Mum will be working afternoon shift and I dun have dinner at home. Yawn... better go off liao. Adieu adieu!!!
