Went to try my Gowns last week. Have to change my Actual day and Outdoor gowns cos didn’t look nice when I wore them. Couldn’t carry it off that well… haiz… Not that I super like those gowns but… choices seemed limited as the Photo shoot is tomorrow. They also need time to alter the other gowns that I have chosen. Night Gown was fine. No issue for that.
Was kinda moody and upset that I had to change my gowns. Well, it wasn’t the studio fault. Partly cos of my Back. Friends who know me would know that I do not have a normal spine. In fact, since primary school, it has been a ‘S’ spine for me, with a lump on my back. Did go and see doc back then and was told that they have to do a major op on me, remove the crooked spine and correct it with a bone from my backside, wear braces etc. Being so young then… abt 10 / 11 yrs old, having to go through such a major op was too much for my mum to accept. Afterall, no Doc will guarantee a 100% successful rate and also, it was no joking matter as it got to do with the spine. Mum couldn’t let me go through all that and adapted a wait and see situation. Over the years… my spine didn’t give me much problem except for a lump at the back. Shoulders used to be super uneven but now, it looks ok. Sometimes people will ask me abt my back and I have to explain to them why it’s like tat. Heard that it will get worse over the years as I get older or… if I am pregnant etc but well, we shall see.
Told Dearie that I was upset by my back. Besides being fat as I am, my back also gives me a problem with the gowns. Dun feel like going through the process of getting married in terms of customary. Dearie was rather sweet and he was asking me how much it costs to get the studio to MTM a gown for me for actual day and do I really like the actual day gown that I couldn’t wear. Told him to save the money. I will be fine. just some mood swing. No point to MTM a gown when I only get to wear for a day… in fact, a few hours in the day and night.
Gotten over the gown issues as the day draws nearer for Photo shoot. Dearie collected his contact lens and it took him some time to get use wearing it for a day last Sat. He will be wearing contact lens tomorrow. We went shopping for props to bring tomorrow. Was thinking to bring soft toys but afraid it might appear kiddy for the photo shoots. Decided not to bring ba.
Today I am off and tomorrow on leave. Going to do my nails later. Supposed to be sleeping… since I can sleep and wake up late today officially ma. However, body clock say otherwise. Woken up but a sms… lolz… can guess who wakes me up? Who else but my sweet Dearie… telling me he is on his way to work. :P
Raining now… praying hard for good weather tomorrow… keeping fingers crossed…
Intend to go around looking for 1 more pair of shoes for photo shoot tomorrow. My current pair, my ROM shoes, seemed to be uncomfortable when I wore them last Wed to try out my gowns. Dunno is it bcos I fell and my feet was swollen then? Dunno but well, see if I can manage to buy a pair that I like and will wear when there are events. See how later ba.
Probably will go look for balloons. Told Dearie I want to have balloons, those floating in the air kind, for the photo shoot. Hope I can find some good and cheap ones! :)

Has been raining for the past few days. on off.. well, I pray hard that the weather will not be like tat when we have our Photo shoot. It can rain all it wants in the morning but when it comes to early afternoon, pls stay and dry up! Pls give me a cooling weather so both me and Dearie will not feel tat we are melting under the hot hot sun. Keeping fingers crossed!
Was supposed to go makan lunch with William and Weili. Was drizzling along the way and guess what… I slipped and fell on 1 leg, with my kneecap landing on the hard concrete floor / road. Blood flowed out… A lot of sand and micro stones on my wound and I was dapping it with tissue. Seemed like I was just making the wound more infected and thus, decided to head back to office to wash the wound while poor William and Weili had to packet for me and Roxance.
Slowly walked back to office with pain on my left knee. More blood flowed down. Roxance saw me and showed me a ‘frightful’ face. Yea… very red blood was flowing down my leg. :( Went to the toilet and performed a yoga act inside. Lifted my leg and washed the wound at the basin. Dun ask me how I did it but well, I just did… As the water ran over the wound, I wanted to scream super loud cos it was super duper pain! An air-plane flew past and I could increase my volume of screaming for a while. Sobz… felt like crying. Damn pain… Then another thing happened in the toilet. My stupid slippers spoilt. Ya… first it caused me to slip and fell. Now it became spoilt as I was washing the wound. I am damn ‘lucky’. Haiz…
After washing, went back to the room and took alcohol swap to clean the wound. Another damn painful session. Want to scream but I cant. Dun wan to give Roxance a fright and so… bear with it. Applied yellow lotion and in the midst of it, both Ws came back. Lunch was back… slowly walked to Pantry and had my lunch with them. As I was finishing the food and chit chatting, felt something flowing down my leg once again. Yea… the wound… flowed out some liquid. Both Ws said that it was supposed to dry up the wound and stop the bleeding but well, not working leh… strolled back to the room and applied more Yellow lotion. Weili helped me to bandage it, covered with a cotton gauge. Wanted to stick just the sides but was advised to stick across. So the bandage will stay. Haiz…
Going over to try my gown later. Hope the trying wont ganna my wound. Will ask Denise to be super careful with me later. luckily I didn’t choose any short dresses / gowns. If not, my wound how? Haiz… of all time, I have to slip and fall. Yesterday almost fall but… why today I have to fall down? Sobz sobz…
Saw the counter on my blog. Abt 5 more months before the Actual day. Fast… real fast. scary… bought my bed liao last week. Sealy Posturepedic. hehehe… nice lor. Shall talk abt it more in another posting. Now got to go prepare to leave the office liao. got to slowly walk to take Circle line. Jayne going with me and Dearie for the fitting. I hope I can still fit! Pray hard!!!
