December is a busy mth. Besides celebrating birthday, there were also Xmas shopping to be done. Well, my office had a mini celebration and had to buy presents for gift exchange. Was very busy on Xmas eve as I was helping out my colleagues with the mini-party. It was pretty chaotic as people tried their lucky in drawing numbers from the Xmas tree and attempted to find their presents below the tree. The presents were not placed in running numbers and a lot of people were finding their presents before going to eat the buffet that we had catered. Was feeling super tired after kneeling down, frantically trying to locate the presents for staff. Had not much appetite for lunch and didn’t eat much. Was half day in office and once lunch was over, rushed home to pass car to brother.

Went to Bukit Timah with him and his GF. Afterwich, they gave me a ride to look for Dearie. Went over to Dearie’s 3rd aunt place. 2nd year over there, spending a quiet Xmas eve. Perhaps I didn’t sleep much. Was almost dozing off sitting in the living room watching TV with Dearie. We wanted to go and catch a movie but Dearie didn’t want to go far cos he too had a tiring day. End up, we just headed back to Dearie’s place with his parents and called it a night. Watched tv together and we spent the rest of the night playing internet.

Xmas day… Dearie offered to bring me to Causeway Point for movie and after that, he would spend a night over at my place. Said he has not been coming over due to his preparations for exams and also his RT. I was feeling pretty lazy and plus… it was a wet wet Xmas. It was raining and I dun feel like heading out. Told Dearie we would probably head somewhere near to his place and he dun have to go over to my place. The following day he has RT and it did not make sense for him to come over to my place and spend a night with me before going back the next day to prepare to go for his RT. I spent another night over at his place instead. Watched Dragonball cartoon with Dearie and some of the scenes were rather funny. We did not head out at all and we ordered Pizzahut for dinner. Yummy Xmas pizza. Delicious! Dearie said he dun mind eating that again. Well, I have a coupon which entitles me a free pizza for either dining in or takeaway. We will have another round of pizza before 3 Jan 10 ba. Waahahhaa…

Met Yvonne on Boxing day. She wanted to get something and we headed over to Marina Square. Well, there were some promotion over at SK Jewellery as it is my birthday mth. 50% off and if the purchases exceed $500, 2nd item (which can include Novi and True Love range) has 50% off* (T&C applies). Quite a fantastic deal and in fact, tis mth, I must be the top spender at SK Jewellery. Beginning of the mth, my Mum made use of this promotion and bought earrings and Novi pendent. Near mid of the mth, Dearie bought his Mother a bracelet and also a Novi pendent for me. Well, besides tat, I got myself a Novi Ring too on the same day.

Today, I went over to SK again, with the intention to trade in my True Love Pendent and Ring. Well, True Love series has 2 yrs 100% trade-in value and since I got lots of rings and pendents (considering those that Dearie bought for me recently, including my 4 pt Gold), I wanted to trade in for earrings (if they have nice designs for me to choose). Looked around at Marina Square outlet but nothing caught my eye. Had dinner and went over to City Link. Well, they had slightly more selection and I was contemplating with some pendents and earrings, dunno which one to get. I wanted to trade in 2 items but end up, I traded in the pendent that Dearie bought for me last year and got another pendent and a pair of earrings. Hehehe… the Pendent is the latest design, reflected on their brochure. Yvonne helped me to choose and I think it looked quite nice! Heart-shaped again. The previous one that Dearie bought for me was also a heart-shaped. Well, kinda like Heart-shaped design. Even though I topped up myself for the trade-in, Dearie spent quite a lot to get the initial one for me. Won’t want to forget his love for me ya? Hehehe… Nice ma? :P

 

Getting real late le… better go to bed. Dearie will scold me when he sees my blog. Night!!! :)

Help! My throat is swollen, keep coughing away and Ah Choo!!! Yes, I am sick. Was on MC today. Slept till 2pm then I dragged myself out of bed. Washed up and went to see Doc. Well, Doc didn’t say anything. Just gave me some medicine and that’s it. Went to packet food home and eat. Opposite my house, the veg. rice at the coffee shop, is getting more and more expensive. I ordered a drumstick, cauliflowers with broccoli and carrots and potato. It costed me $4! Wah… how cheap is it for the potato and vegetables? Hmm… i thot at most $3+ but whooping $4! Didn’t finish all the rice and vegetables though. Ate a bit and felt full. Took some medicine and was online the rest of the PM checking emails and playing Facebook.

Was supposed to meet Dearie today. Yes, waited so long for him to finish his exams but he got work to do. Haiz… Busy busy busy. Year end always prove to be a hectic and busy schedule for him. Besides going for his RT, he still got his work to do. Especially having to be part of the recreation committee. 2 times in the running. Only becos he is the only guy (besides CFO) in his Dept? Bully lor! No like no like. Sobz… :(

Ya. I am still up at this late hour. Later going to fetch Bro’s gf from Bukit Timah after her medical checkup. Set the alarm clock and hope I can wake up. Sometimes I feel rather bored on a Friday night. Dearie has no time for me. Can’t bring me to movies, got his RT, my friends have their own programmes as Christmas is drawing near. Asked him to bring me go watch Chipmunks on Christmas eve but he said do it on another day as he might be very tired on that day. Haiz… Don’t really like year end cos he will be so busy busy busy that I am left alone. Ya… go out with my friends. I know I can always do that. But… they are also busy with their own things ma. As if everyone of them are free as and when I need company. Dearie just dun understand at times. Dunno what to say.

Nothing much happening this week. Last week was really a busy busy week. Did almost all the things that I had stated. Bought Mum to look for Shan and thanks to Shan, mum bought a number of clothes. She loved what she bought and was telling me the next day… ask Shan when got new arrival. She would want to go and buy again. Haha… Sometimes this mum of mine, funny one la. When I asked her to buy, she was like in a dilemma, dunno want a not. Now bought home, looking thru the clothes, she likes them and want to buy more. Complained to me no bottoms to match though. Okie… fine. There was a sale just next to my office building. Went to buy her bottoms. Bought her 3 in total. Liked 2 of them and 1 more, I have to go and exchange for other items. really troublesome. Luckily just next to my office. If not, ahahaha… ask her to go and change herself la. :P

Bought 2 short sleeves shirts and 2 t-shirts for Dearie. Told him earlier and he was saying he dun need them. Faint. Sometimes he complained that he dun have short sleeves shirts and I thot it’s good to buy since he could wear them on Friday or even when we head out on weekends. Bought him le and he said he needs jeans more. But… I dunno how to buy jeans for him if he is not around to try them. Later too tight or too long or what how? Asked Jayne to help to buy iron and cordless phone during Isetan member sale this morning. Bought already and when I told him, he said Father will scold me for buying the iron. Mother was complaining abt the current iron sometime back and since it was a good bargain, I thot might as well buy lor. At least my Mother-in-law will be happy with a new iron ma. Dearie was complaining abt the current cordless phone as it has antenna and it hinders when talking to me at night. I bought him an antenna free one and he said no need. I almost die on the spot. He said dun anyhow spend money cos need to save up for the wedding. Yes… I know all these but… since there is a sale and I think it’s worth the buy and there were complaints and intentions to change, why not do it now? At least I think I will make his Mother happy lor. Hmm… Dun care le. Already asked Jayne to buy it and they have been bought. Dun like also no choice lor.

With the year coming to an end, what have I done so far? Haha… basically NOTHING. Ya… NOTHING at all except spending more $$. Wahahah… y do I say that? Well, my room is still as messy as ever, I have yet to really start packing. Things are just stacking up, 1 pile after another. Dearie has been nagging at me and yes… I know I said I am going to pack le but well, hahha… I know la. shall not find excuses for myself. I only know I have 1 timeline and I need to make sure I definitely do it by then. That is before the Wedding day. Haha… Dun wan people to see my room so messy. :P

Dearie said going to slowly look into the wedding things. Yea… slowly lor. I only intend to take those photos in June. After his reservist ba. maybe can go and choose gowns in April. As for guest list, did a rough one on my side. Still got lots to add or fine tune. lolz… plus i cannot make up my mind on which photographer I would want to engage. I only know I have my friend, helping me for the whole day, as my backup photographer. Giving me a very good price. LOLz… Friendship price he called it. Good la. I appreciate… :)

How long has it been? More than 1 mth, no updates at my blog. Haha… I think I break records le. So so so long no updates. So many past happenings and so many things to blog about. Well, some memories have became vague and I could only remember the happening December. Why happening? Because… It’s my birthday month! Hahah…. Of course, not forgetting, it’s also birthdays for both my mum and brother. We went to eat crabs again at New Ubin Seafood. Bro and his gf simply love the place lor. Eat and eat again, never get sick of it. Haha… Ate full full over there and we headed home to have Ice-cream cake! Haha… yummylicious! Swensens Ice-cream cake. First time I eat it. Cookie and Cream. Tasty!!!

The following day, my colleagues had an early celebration for me. Hehehe… They asked me what I wanted for Bday and I got what I want. A Purse-in Bag, to keep my things neat in my bag. Haha… my bag can be so messy and full of things. With it, I can easily find my things and it won’t be tat messy le. Besides that, they also got me a cute Snow white with bday cake. It’s from Precious Moments. So so cute!!! Loving it. My bday cake was from Prima Deli. Blueberry Yoghurt Cake. Yummy… never eat before. Not tat bad. just tat a lot of cream though. Heheh…

 

Went to makan Jpot with Jayne and Mummy. Took pics of the food also. Haha… Not a lot of pics of me la. Not in the mood to take pics but am in the mood to be photographer. Made my own yummy source to dip with the food. Fresh and nice soup bases and food. Enjoyed that night. Mummy enjoyed herself too! Happy…

2 Dec, went Swensens at Ion with Collin and Jennifer. Didn’t take any pics except for food. Haha…

             

3 Dec, received a lot of well wishes from my friends and colleagues. Was busy replying msgs on Facebook and also smses. Haha… Thanks to all! Loving all of u! :)

Was on leave and Jayne kept me accompany that day. Went to 313 Somerset. It was officially opened on that day. Walked around the building. Not a bad place. Some of the shops were not open yet but I would say, abt 80 percent is open le. Took some pics of the places. Interesting dustbin, not forgetting to save the environment at the same time. :)

Had my late lunch at Centrepoint, Prima. Sinful but Yummy…

Went Vivo to catch a movie, ‘Couples Retreat’. Contains sexual content but the story is good. Worth to catch it! Was laughing laugh in the theatre. Also went to do my nails. Super long never do le. Got lots of dead skin though. Maybe I should try to do it more often. Pamper my poor feet? Hehe…

Met Yvonne and her sister on Friday. Walked and shopped a bit @ Takashimaya. Headed to Tampopo to have late dinner. The Macha cake is very nice! Cream has it’s milk taste and also, it has strawberries in it. Wanted to eat the cheese cake but it was sold out. Got 2 cakes to eat cos they made a mistake and took in our order for the cheese cake when it was sold out. Another cake was on the house. :)

I had a fun week. Thanks to all my friends and colleagues who made it a point to remember my bday and celebrate for me. Enjoyed myself and appreciate the thoughts. Many hugs and kisses to:

• Friday, shopping with Jayne for steamboat at her place on Sat
• Saturday, Makan Steamboat and MJ!!!
• Sunday, meeting my Dearie to go Vivo and take pic with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Chip & Dale!!! Need to have pass to take one and I got the pass! Wahahha…

Busy busy… hope I have the energy to last. Haha…
