Time flying... in the blink of the eye...
Sunday, January 27, 2008 @ at

How time really flies. My long waited Saturday is over and here we are... stepping into the early hours of Sunday. Met Dearie on Fri and we went to Square 2 and Velocity. Hardly go over to Novena unless I need to go TTSH to visit people. Didn't know it has changed so much over there. Finally know what Wendy was referring to in her blog when I was at Novena. Saw Square 2. Amazing place with lots of little shops around. Didn't get to walk through the whole place. Me and Dearie were wondering where to go for dinner. Both of us were working late on Friday and by the time we met, it was already 8+. He got craving for Satay and wanted to go to Newton Circus to eat. However, that idea was abandoned and we headed over to Novena instead. Had Ajitsan noddles and we were super full. Dearie accompanied me to walk around looking at watches and shoes. My watch has runned out of battery and it has scratches and cracks. Seems like I would spend a lump sum on watches once a year. Went around looking but couldn't find anything that I like. Same for shoes. I wanted to get a new pair for CNY but nothing nice caught my eye.

Dearie accompanied me home and spent the night over at my place. I showed him the DVD of my Company's D&D and he managed to finish it before feeling that it's time for bed. Was fixing my PC earlier on till his eyes were rather tired. Went to Zzzz...

Saturday morning... both of us got up at about 10+. Dearie wanted to go out to eat but I was lazy. Suggested to order food delivery instead. I was playing PC game while Dearie watched tennis on TV. Ate his lunch and he departed home for his RT. Something happened twice in a roll when Dearie was having lunch and when he was going home. Made me giggle and laughed at Dearie for being a big kid. Hehe... Shall not indivulge here... Later Dearie "strangles" me. :P

Anyway, I was playing game at home when Yvonne, my Dear SO, sms me and asked me out. I went to meet her at Orchard for some window shopping and ended buying some stuff for Dearie and myself. For him to use and hope he will feel happy when using it. hehe... Had my dinner at 9+ and headed home at 10+.

Was lamenting on how time really flies so quickly. Next Fri, will be 1 Feb. Soon, CNY. Then my major Career event at Suntec. Then holidays to Bangkok with Dearie. June... time to choose my ROM gown. Sept... ROM with Dearie. Hope we can get our dream flat. Waiting for the balloting results to be out in end Feb. Getting excited over a lot of things but yet again, afraid of disappointment. Have to tell myself to be positive and hope for the best. Jia You Christine... Everything will be just fine... :)

Tiring Week...
Thursday, January 24, 2008 @ at

Have been a busy and tiring week. Got tons of things to do and clear. Lots of emails have been left unread. Later heading over to Republic Poly to do the Career fair. Will be bring my laptop over there and hope I would have some time to clear those emails...

Met Dearie on Tuesday and we went to Suntec to eat at Soup Restaurant. Dearie said he has not eaten the food there before. Ordered some dishes and glad that he liked the food. Both of us have been busy busy at work. Didn't spend that much time like last time. What to do? We have to strive hard in our work and earn as much money as we can. Got lots to prepare for our wedding. Walking around looking at those things made me excited about it but yet... it's still too early to do much now as well. Shall see how things progress...

Was tempted to eat ice-cream after dinner and was asking Dearie to buy for me to eat but yet when we passed by those ice-cream stalls, I curbed my temptation and moved on. My craving for chocolates, sweets and ice-cream is back. I tend to crave for snacks. Went to buy things from NTUC and Shop & Save but they do not have much to offer. Probably I should really go to the bigger outlets and shop to my heart's content but then again... I better control hard if I don't want to put on weight. Have been on yo-yo recently. Lose 1 Kg, put on again. Lose & put on... haiz... I don't want to put on more weight. I have yet to hit my targeted weight... have to lose more more more... Jia you!

Feeling lazy... backaching. hmm... got to go prepare soon though. 2 more days to end the week... hang on...

Past Happenings in the week...
Saturday, January 19, 2008 @ at

So so tired. Haven't been sleeping well for the past few nights. Have been drifting off to dreamland at around 2+am / 3am. Super tired. My eyes could hardly open... bought work home to do over the weekend. Lots to clear. Well... no choice. Work still has to be done. I have a new colleague joining us next Wed. Hopefully she could learn things fast and offload the portfolio from me. looking forward to having a strong HR team and making a difference in the Company. :)

Went to book our soleminisation place with Dearie yesterday. Both of us took half day and we went to various places to run errands. Booked the place, collected our travel tickets.

Dearie gave me another surprise yesterday. He bought me an iPod Touch! He said it was my early Valentine Day present. Hugz... it was unexpected. Dearie just asked if there was any electronic stores around and told me he is looking for MP3 players. i remembered there was one at level 3 and bought him upstairs. He was looking around while I roamed around the place. Then he walked over to me and showed me the iPod Touch. Asking if I want it. He wants to buy it to give me. So so sweet of him. I was caught unaware... he said mine was spoilt already and he thought it would be good to let me have that so I could watch video / listen to mp3. At least it can keep me occupied when he is not around with me.

I didn't buy it at Bugis though. Dearie bought me to Cineleisure and he also bought me the accessories to protect the iPod touch. so thoughtful and nice of him to buy me the present. I was asking him the other day should we be buying one another present and he told me to save money. On the other hand, he splunged on me just like that... without any hesitation. I am touched with his every action and thoughtfulness. He is the sweetest person in my life. Loving my Dearest Dearie... :)

Met up with my ex-colleagues tonight. We haven't seen one another for almost 2 years! Time really flies. Dearie came to join me after his work and end up, my ex-colleague's wife is his Secondary school mate! What a small world... Dearie was complaining that he was tired and wouldn't want to come... I was happy to see him and well... consider slightly fruitful for him to meet his secondary school friend at my ex-colleagues' meetup. hehe...

Clock kept ticking... my eyes getting tired le... I wanted to do some work before hitting the bed. But guess my eyes cannot take it any longer. Going to end here... Night!

Holiday trip confirmed!
Tuesday, January 15, 2008 @ at

Hehe... me and Dearie going for holiday in March. Our trip has been confirmed by the travel agency and we are going Bangkok to shop till we drop! wahhaa... actual fact, I think I am going to be the one who will shop till I drop. Dearie would most probably be finding places to rest his feet. :P

Love Dearie for being able to bring me shopping and accompany me to walk around, never complaining or saying a single word. I know he would try his best to keep me company whenever he can. My Dearie is different from other guys. Some of the guys would be complaining and dislike going shopping with girls, thinking that it is a waste of time and would rather their gfs go shopping with their female friends than them. Guys who have this kind of mentality better wake up. Sometimes girls would want a male opinion as well and they would prefer to hear more from their bfs rather than any male friend.

Looking forward to the trip. Really need the breakaway from our busy schedule. Lunching in again today. Taking a break now. Have to get back to work liao... Adios!

New Look...

Supposed to be in bed... Have been trying to change my blog skin for the past 2 hours. Like the unique look for the ring that reflected the heart in the shadow. Finally got it up and running. :)

Hypocrites, Big Trumpet, Inconsiderate Pest!
Sunday, January 13, 2008 @ at

Couldn't understand people's mentality nowadays. They like to make a hill out of a molehill. Blabbering off without considering other people's feelings. The worse is... they could just use words to describe the people whom they are saying and forgeting that it is so obvious that they are mentioning that particular person.

If you want to say somebody, go straight up to the person and say that person. Don't do it behind the person's back and expect that person not to know. I hate this kind of people. Acting so nice in front of others while they are just simple such low hypocrites of the society. Just like some people who want to lie and yet they are such a bad liar and got exposed so so easily at the end of the day... even a 3 yr old kid would know that they are lying.

A few incidents happened and made me wonder... does this person actually know what he is doing and did he ever think of the consequences of his actions? When things happened then go around explaining to people for his actions, trying to gain allies to stand on his side when he was the first person who started everything. Things wouldn't have started in the first place if he did not start blabbering around. 无风不起浪. That is how rumors start and misunderstandings arise right?

I will not be like that person. I dare to mention his name here in the Blog. PAUL LEE. My Dearie's friend / classmate. PAUL... thanks for the attempt to sow discord between me and Richard. Sad to say, both of us did not fall to the little scheme of yours. Both of us are mature enough to know what we are doing and how we are to go abt handling our relationship. If you have so much spare time on your hands, kindly go and put them into good use instead of making redundant comments on people.

Referring to the calendar on your blog does not mean that I am there to track the movements of Richard. I could easily track if I want do. Do you think you are the only one who know his schedule or activities? Are you his personal assistant? Is Richard really always with you? If so, then you must have known how to be invisible that I could not see you at all when I am with him. Or should I say that I am blind and your existence is never known or felt.

Class schedule could be easily obtain from the sch... personal schedule could be obtained easily from his family. I don't have to stoop so low just to know what Richard would be doing. I could easily ask him personally and let him know what I have in mind or what I am planning to do with him. Both of us have nothing to hide from one another. Unlike you... who like to do things behind people's back and just give them names or abbreviations to describe them. You still have the cheek to mention that only with trust and faith that relationship / friendship / family ties will be able to work well. You have forgotten other important fundamental points. Be open, frank and upfront with one another. Do not hide things and be an inconsiderate pest. There are so many points to note in order to maintain a relationship with people. If you only know about having trust and faith, then you still got lots to learn. Before you comment on others, kindly reflect on yourself first.

I am sure you would be calling your friends around to complain abt my remarks on my blog. This is my blog. I am free to post whatever I want. If you are not happy abt the things I have posted, it's none of your business also.

Call me a B*itch or what. I don't care. I don't hide my feelings and I am straightforward. As much as I try not to hurt people's feelings or be crude. Don't come and step on my tail and still pretend you don't intend to... pretending you are a saint. For your age, you should know and have the discretion on what is to be mentioned and what is not to be mentioned. A few incidents have happened and you can still continue to be an irritating man. Not knowing when and where to stop.

How Richard and I decide we are right for one another, how much trust we have for each other and how we choose each other to be life partners are NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. Just accept the fact that we are happy together and whatever we plan or intend to do is also NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. I do not intend to put Richard in a difficult spot at all. However, your silly actions just made have to be addressed and be put to a stop. 河水不犯井水. Do not step into my boundary and I will be nice to you. Step on my tail and see how I retaliate. Kindly just MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS, ACCEPT AND MOVE ON. I would appreciate that from you. It's not hard to do. Easily to achieve. If you have difficulties on that, feel free to approach any friends of yours and I am sure they would be in the right mind to advise you on how to go about doing that.

Love Msg to Dearie...

Dedicated to my Dearie...

Want to let you know how much I love you
Nothing could describe how I felt for you
Some words are best left to be unsaid
But yet, some are best to be heard
Thanks for being there for me, standing by me when I am feeling low and down
We have shared happy moments together and I am sure there are more to come
I know I have found the man of my life and I hope you feel the same way as I do
You have let me immersed in blissfulness and showering me with your love
Giving me care and concern despite your busy work and schedule
I am thankful that I have found you and I can't wait to spend every of my minute and second with you
Looking forward to 20 Sept 08 where both of us will say "I DO..."

Bridal Shop Shopping...
Sunday, January 6, 2008 @ at

Sunday... out with Shan today. She accompanied me to Outram to check out Tour package to Bangkok with Dearie. Quite ex lor. The last I booked and gone to Bangkok, the cost is only $300 / $400+. Now it's $600 - $700 plus! Increased so much over 1 - 2 years of difference? Haiz... Have to do more planning with Dearie liao. To see if we will really go and how many days ba.

After Outram, we went to the wedding show again. Bought Shan to take a look at the bridal shop that I have signed up. There were a few that she was keen in. Attractive and comparable prices. Mervyn came over to join us later as Shan is keen to sign up with 1 of them. They decided to engage Z-Wedding to be their BS. Different from mine and Dearie. I sat through 3 - 4 bridal shop sales talk with them and it was really tiring. Hearing the same kind of things and negotiating for good price and freebies. I know getting married has a lot to prepare for and it could be real tiring. Today I felt it when I go through the talk with Shan. Hope when it comes to mine and Dearie, it would be much more easier.

Anyway, understand from Shan and Mervyn why 2008 is a good year to get married. Also heard from the Bridal Shops that they have a lot of customers getting married in Sept. I am starting to worry... what if me and Dearie is not able to register our marriage at ROM registry? We have to do it outside? Venue? No. of pax to have / invite? We wanted to do it at ROM Registry and just a simple luncheon with our family members. I think that might not be possible if Sept is a good month for couples to get married. Hmm... Must tell Dearie and see what we can do. Might have to change our plans slightly.

Dearie is at a friend's wedding dinner. Dunno what time he will end. I am waiting for him to be home and to talk to me. Tomorrow going back to work again. Tired... but... hehe. tomorrow onwards, my company is providing Shuttle bus service from AMK and Serangoon MRT station. I am going to take shuttle bus tomorrow. It would be easier for me to travel to office from tomorrow onwards. Save some transport also. hehe...

I am getting tired. Yawning away. going to rest my eyes while waiting for Dearie to call. Tata...

Good & Bad start to Year 2008?
Saturday, January 5, 2008 @ at

Been busy at work since day 1. A lot of things to rush for and work just can't seems to finish. So so tired... Got lots of plans coming up at work. The major career fair is coming up and have yet to do any manpower planning. Have to do recruitment to replace staff and also cater to the expanding plans. Still have to do the new commission scheme, staff appraisal and not forgetting training. Short of manpower now. I wonder how long I can take it. Just try to bear with it and see how things go bah.

Anyway, met Dearie on both Thursday and Friday. Thursday we went to West Mall to have dinner and walk around. We wanted to go Outram to check out some tour package. Both of us have decided to go for a short holiday. Need a break away from our busy work. I seldom get to travel and it's great to be able to go travelling with Dearie. Spending time together... hehe.

Friday... we went to BOWS 2008. The first wedding fair of the year. It's located at Bugis, open field at Tan Quee Lan street (if I dun remember the spelling wrongly). Air-con area... and the air-con was cold! I collected my goodie bag and it has a cute wedding favour inside. It's actually fork, spoon and knife. Can join them together one. Cute lor! hehe... like it a lot.

Didn't manage to explore all the stalls there. Only stop at 2. Both Bridal shops. Saw my colleague over there and he bought me over to the stall that he knew. Was telling me previously abt the bridal package that he has signed up for. Saw the photographs and their shooting style is not bad. Quite nice wor... Checked out the package and guess what? I have became a Yvonne Creative BTB. hehe... We negotiated for a number of freebies and for our customary, we would be able to drive a white beatle! 2 seaters car and in the event we really opt for this car, only me and Dearie will be sitting in the car. Open hood and would be able to take nice photos with it. Not bad ya? :P

Can't wait to be able to go and choose my ROM gown. Excited...

Stepping into the first day of Year 2008...
Tuesday, January 1, 2008 @ at

Didn't do much on the last day of 2007. Spent a quiet night with Dearie at my place. We did not go to any place for Countdown. Neither did we stay up to watch any of the television programmes. Guess we were too tired. Dearie slipped into dreamland at about 10+. I disturbed him and made him talked to me a while before I fell asleep myself. We intended to spend our night watching DVD at home but guess both of us were too tired to stay up. The nearest countdown place to my house was at Woodlands. My mum heard the fireworks... but both of us... drifted off to our dreamland and we did not hear anything. We just slept into the first day of 2008.

Woke up at around 9+ in the morning. Dearie was woken up by my HP alarm at 6+ and had to climbed up to pass me my HP to switch it off. Hehe... He was commenting that it was rather loud and how come I could still overslept with that loud sound. I told him I turned it off to sleep a while longer and that was how I became late for work and had to take cab most of the time. Now he knows why... hehe...

Anyway, both of us woke up and had sandwiches that my mum had made for us before heading for work. Dearie finished a DVD at my place while I was playing PC games. We left my place and headed to his place at around 2+. Had roti prata at Sun Plaza and Dearie accompanied me to fix a new Specs. Hehe... He was also asking me how come I need so many specs. Well... sometimes spectacles is considered as part of accessories ma. Will be collecting my new specs this Sunday. Can't wait... hehe...

Dearie's mum was happy to see me. Spent time talking to me while Dearie was playing his PS2 games... Had dinner over there and Dearie sent me home... This was how I spent my first day of 2008. Nothing happening, nothing much. Just a lovely day spent with Dearie... Loving his company and loving having him around me. Wish we have more time together despite of our busy schedules ahead...
