My 2nd Bday Prezzie for this year and it's from Mother... :)
Friday, November 28, 2008 @ at

Hasn't seen Dearie for the past 4 days as he was having his revision class everyday. Decided to head out with Fiona and Yvonne today. At the same time, headed over to see my Doc for the monthly review.

Few days before, I bought a Polo Ralph bag and filled it up with a lot of clothes. Found that my existing Fila bag at Dearie's place is kinda small and every now and then, I have to replenish with clothes. Got this big bag and packed a lot of clothes at one go. Mum saw me with the bag this morning and was asking me... "你是不是要跑路?" Wahaha... so funny. But the bag is really big and even after I packed a lot of clothes in, still got a lot of space to put in more wor. :P

Left both Fiona and Yvonne in the car while I went up to Dearie's place to leave my bag there. Mother passed me something. Guess what is it? Hehe...

Mother was telling me those were meant for my birthday. She remembered my birthday is coming up and told me this is to wish me an early happy birthday. Last year she also bought something for me. This is the 2nd year that I got present from her and also, my 2nd present for this year. The first one was the Coach bag from my Dearie and now this... Loving the present that Mother has bought. So nice and sweet of her to remember my birthday. She even went to buy the paper bag specially to give it to me. Really blissful to have a great Mother-in-Law. Glad that I can get along well with her. Hehe...

Was out with Jayne and Shan last nite. Before Shan came and joined us for the Metro shopping, me and Jayne were hanging around Paragon. You will be quite amazed how kiasu SG women are. Metro Paragon was having a 20% sale and it's only meant for Ladies. At about 5.30pm, we saw long long queue at both level 1 and 2. The ladies have lined themselves up, waiting for the gates to be opened so that they could go in and grab their stuff. Well, I know Metro 20% sale will attract a lot of people as the discounts apply to those branded cosmetics as well, even though discounts are given in credit vouchers, but to that extent... Woah.... showed me another side of SG women ba. Hehe... luckily I haven't join in that league yet and goodness no... I won't want to be in that league. :P

Anyway, went to Sony gallery to take a look. Saw this HP... C905. It's the newest hp launched by Sony Ericsson. 8.1 Megapixels and also, it has WIFI! Very impt aspect for me as I am so so used to WIFI phone cos I will be able to surf internet and msn at places with Wireless@SG. That is why sometimes I could appear online on mobile mode and also, can check my emails even as I am not at home or work. It looked cool and if I get from Sony Gallery, they are giving digital photo frame and some other freebies. Tempted leh... I saw the black color set. Came home and went online and saw that they have 2 other colours, the ice silver and copper gold. Targeting at the Copper gold which looks nice and classy. Wondering if I should buy. If I dun get from Sony Gallery, I could get from an online shop which allows me to trade in my hp. They offer one of the highest trade-in value for my Nokia HP. How ah? Should I a not? Tempted... thinking of it since last night when I saw it. Hmm... Furthermore, the camera is very sharp and good especially for someone like me who likes to take pics whenever, whereever. How how how?

Fallen sick
Wednesday, November 19, 2008 @ at

Was on MC for 2 days since yesterday. Wasn't feeling too good. Went to see doc at about 2+pm yesterday. Luckily the clinic was not crowded and I just need to wait for 1 patient before me to be out and I was next to see the doc. Same as last time, Doc did not want to give me any antibiotics to being with. He just told me to take more rest and let me body heal on its own. Was saying there were viruses around and got to monitor my cough. If it persists on till Sat, I got to go back and visit him again. In case it got more serious.

Told Dearie I felt like vomiting for the past few days. Dunno what is wrong with my tummy or throat. Felt weird and I want to eat minty sweets and sour things. Dun get the wrong idea... there is no "UFO" in me la. Just dunno what has happened that made me feel this way. Slept a fair bit and missing my Dearie lots. He is having his exams real soon and I really dread the idea that I got to wait and wait for him to finish. Promise him that I will be a good girl. Trying really really hard lor. Hmm...

Anyway, we all seen drivers who have bad behaviour in their cars, especially when waiting for the lights to turn green. Well, we seen nose digging, touch up of makeup, munching of food, styling of hair, etc. Guess what I saw recently? A guy, with sleeveless t-shirt, with his arms up, shaving his armpit hair. Fainted... so er-xin and unhygenic. How could anyone be shaving armpit hair in the car? Imagine them flying around in the air-con of the car. Oh my God... never did I thought such a person exist. Just when we thought nose digging is bad enough. Meet the next one top on the er-xin list...

Going to be back to office tomorrow. Hopefully not a lot of things to be done. Boss has gone for her leave and spending time with her family in Japan. While she is away, I have to help out. Hopefully nothing major happens...

Friday got Metro sale for Ladies. Items less 20%! Wahaha... trying not to spend too much. need to save save save! Anyway, got a lot of things for me to finish using also but... well, will still be going to take a look ba. Waiting for my clothes to arrive from all the Taiwan spree. I have spent more than $250 in this mth itself, ordering those clothes. Amazing ya? But well, all are much much cheaper as compared to what I could get in SG. Hopefully most of them arrive before CNY lor. I got some coming soon. Got to curb myself... those were ordered abt 1.5 mths ago. Better keep them for CNY. If not, no clothes to wear later. :P

Movies... Showing now & Coming Soon!
Saturday, November 15, 2008 @ at

My weekends have just started to become boring and it will remain like this for the next few weeks as Dearie has to attend revision classes and prepare for his exams. Well, I slept at dunno what time last night. All I could recall was that I woke up (as my mum came into my room to off my lights, put aside my laptop, specs, etc. properly so I could sleep well) and msg Dearie at abt 4am before I dozed off again. Up at 7+am and all the way till now, I haven't catch a wink of sleep. Home alone and really dunno what to do. There are many things I could do. Example, packing and cleaning up my room, attempt to locate my necklace and pendent. But I am so so lazy. I dunno where to start as well. Wait till I am in the mood next time bah. Wahaha...

Woke up and was playing Facebook. Addicted to Mob Wars. Last time I used to comment that Bro's game was not fun at all when it was just clicking here and there, with no action etc. Same for me now. Just click and wait for the results to be shown across the screen. I know it's kinda bo liao but well, at least something else I can play and train my mob to be powerful mobster. Hehe... Want to dominate the Mobster World but hor... I still got a super long way to go la. :P

Was switching between games and managed to complete 2 games. Installed them not long ago and finished playing them le. Installed another new game and was playing half way when my eyes felt like closing. I switched to Facebook and back to the games again. Made my eyes not that tired and I could still stay up till now. Dearie has been smsing me while having his lessons. Hope he managed to absorb what the Lecturer was teaching. If not, I will pull his ears for not listening to the class! Know he worries that I will be bored to death but no choice la. I got to bear with it while he tries his best to pass his exams. I also want him to pass his papers and graduate ASAP. Jia you Dearie!

Anyway, was so so bored that I went into GV and Cathay website to see what are the upcoming movies. Below are the list of movies that caught my interests and I would want to watch! Anyone keen to go with me? Some of them will be shown during Dearie's exam period and I guess I have to either go with other friends to watch or... don't watch at all. Haiz... Poor me... So anyone wanna pity this poor girl and offer to watch the below movies with her? :P

Just another day
Wednesday, November 12, 2008 @ at

Finished most of my stuff for today. Got to do some market survey thingy but before I start on it, take a break first. The survey could be very tedious and might cause me to have some dead brain cells later on. So...I better generate some new cells first by taking a break! Wahaha...

Anyway, login to HDB website not long ago. Updates to our lovenest. Well, we submitted our application for BTO on 28 Dec 2007. Looking back, it was just a few months after being together with Dearie. Slightly more than 6 mths from the day we agreed to be together. Fast ya? Hehe.

We selected our flat on 15 Apr 2008. That was like almost 4 mths later of waiting for balloting, receiving of the letter for queue number, appointment letter, etc. Agreement for leasing was signed on 13 Aug 2008, which was another 4 mths of waiting. Current status now as reflected, Probable Completion Date is on 3Q of 2011 and Delivery Possession Date is by 30 Jun 2012 (as estimated by HDB). Hmm... should I say HDB is fast or they are slow? They have kept us waiting and waiting for the balloting and booking and also signing of the lease agreement. That was like 8 mths leh... I only spotted construction 2 weeks ago.

In any case, not in a rush to have possession of the flat. By the time the flat is ready, we would have already finished our Customary and will be able to slowly plan and design our lovenest. That is the plan that we both have. Maybe I should have a countdown counter for the construction of our lovenest. Then we could see how long more to wait before the Probable Completion Date and also, Delivery Possession Date. Wahaha...

See... I so bo liao in thinking of this thing during my generation of new brain cells. Better go and do some killing now. Tata!

Lonely days ahead
Tuesday, November 11, 2008 @ at

Dearie going to have his exams soon. His revision classes starting on this Thursday and for the next 2 weeks, I will be left alone. Haiz... what can I do leh? My friends are not available to go out with me. Some of them have their own programs and some are busy with their own stuff. Guess I can only be a good girl and stay at home. Oh gosh... Will it be sleeping and eating time when I am cooped up at home?

Today was a rainy day. I had craving for tibits and snacks during the afternoon and I was whining in office, telling my colleagues that I want to eat this and eat that. Must control myself le... later on when take photos, won't appear nice and pretty but... so hard lor. Ended up, like a little mouse, I went to the cabinets and dug out food to munch on. Ate cuttlefish strips and also ice-cream. I also ate a bit of "Wu Hua Guo". If I could head to supermarket, surely will buy lots of tibits to store in office. But then... this is a bad habit of mine. I like to buy and buy but end up, I dun eat much. Only when I have craving then I will want to seek out those food and munch them away. Help me!!! Need to stop this bad habit of mine... haiz...

Spent money on clothes again. Have sent out orders and waiting for them to arrive. Those will be for my CNY. Hope that they arrive on time ba. Picked up some clothes today. They were ordered abt 1 - 2 mths ago. Wanted to try them on when I was home but was lazy. Caught a nap earlier and now up, surfing the net and chatting to Dearie over MSN. Life seems a little boring now. Maybe cos I know he won't have time for me till after his exams ba. His exams will finish after my bday. He was telling me this morning that I got to remind him when it's my bday in case he forgets when he is busy preparing for his exams. Where got like that one... told him to mark it down on his calendar. Wife's bday leh... still need wife to remind. Like that become bad hubby. No one will like bad hubby. Will have to punch and kick them if they are bad!!! :P

Updates, updates, updates...

My previous blog entry must have let those around me worried and wondering what had happened to cause such strong msg across. Well, dun wish to elaborate that anymore. It's over already and now just slowly "recovering" from the "aftershocks".

img7766

Caught a movie last night with Dearie. Watched "Quantum of Solace" at PS. I didn't watch the first Daniel Craig's James Bond movie and thus I didn't really know the story to begin with. Well, if you are looking for good action and excitement with the bombing and shooting, it will be one of the movies to catch. As what the reviewers have been saying on the radio etc., Daniel Craig really portrayed the emotional side of Bond and had done a great job in that.

Went to Furama Riverfront's Wedding show this afternoon. Hehe... we have signed up to hold our customary dinner there. Dearie said he will be willing to sign up if we can get the Director to continue to be our coordinator. Dearie is comfortable with the Director as he was the one who had coordinated for us during our ROM as well. I emailed prior to the wedding show to Albert, the Director, and he was more than happy to assist us with our queries. The wedding show was from 12pm to 5pm and we took a cab there cos I was afraid to be late for the show. Woke up early today but I took rather long to get ready.

Reached the place and they were still getting ready for the crowd to come in. Albert was attending to his guests but managed to come over and attend to us very fast. Gone thru the whole thingy with us and threw in some extra perks. I didn't really have to negotiate much as most of the items were included and also, I trust that Albert will be able to give us more later on. Afterall, he did threw in extra things during our ROM without us knowing. Hehe...

It was less than 10 mins of talk and we signed up to have the dinner there. As the date will be in 2010,  we could leave a lot of details to be discussed at a later date. We will still need to go down again when the contract is done. Not in a rush la... that can slowly wait till next year. Have used up all my leave for this yr and only left 1 day liao. :P

DSC01799 DSC01802 DSC01801 DSC01807 DSC01822 DSC01824 DSC01834 DSC01835 DSC01858

Walked around the place and took some photos. Loved some of the themes that they have displayed. But really too early for us to choose now. There will be new themes next year and who knows, in 2010 too. At least we have a feel of how it's going to be and can trust that Furama Riverfront will be able to do a good job for us. Stayed and caught the wedding show. The bridal studio there is Yvonne Creative, the BS that we have signed up with earlier this year. They were the ones who had done my make-up, gown and bouquet during my ROM. They were showing 2009 wedding gowns and there were a couple that looked very very very very nice!! Loved those gowns... I was telling Dearie that I loved this gown, that gown, this gown, that gown. All looked so so lovely. Yvonne has really done a good job and can see it's not easy to put the gowns together as each gown has it's own details to see to.

DSC01862 DSC01863DSC01868 DSC01867 DSC01869

Went up to take a look at the bridal suite also. Took some pics and I loved the towel-made swans! special and nice lor! wish I could bring them home... special. I have seen people folding towels into other shapes but swans... first time! They used orchids to decorate and the little parts of the orchids as eyes of the swans. innovative to me... still think they are good in folding them into that.

Was supposed to meet Jayne at Orchard to go Metro for shopping but she wasn't feeling well and so... me and Dearie went to Queensway Ikea instead.  The place has renovated and although some of the parts are still under renovation, the place looked much better than Tampines Ikea. Probably because I can see a lot of demo places around which they were nice and homely concepts to be adapted. Saw the wardrobes and they were nice with sliding doors and mirrors. The wardrobes could be customised and made accordingly to what you want to have in it. Ikea has improved in its products along the way and no wonder so many people like to buy things from there. We bought some photo frames to put our ROM pics and when I was back at Dearie's place, I realised that I should have bought more. Forgot to buy more... have to go back there again. Probably during the weekdays ba. Wahaha...

Moving slowly towards preparing for our customary. Our photographer shared with us at the wedding show that we should be selecting our gowns during May or June next year so that we will be in time for the wedding shots. 2010 seems far but hearing his advice, it seems so fast! Haha... I saw a few wedding favours that were super nice and sweet as well. Both of us like them a lot. Understand that they will have new designs every 3 - 6 mths. By the time it's for us to choose, should have really nice ones liao. Just like our ROM wedding favours. Also saw wedding cards. Lovely... hehe... now with the place confirmed, we won't have to rush in search of places to hold the customary dinner and could slowly plan for the rest. Oh ya... did I mention that our lovenest has started its constructions? Hehe... slowly slowly falling into places. With one thing down, we can take our time to source and think about other things. Taking baby steps slowly and growing up together as one as days go by...

Happily Everafter...

does not happen, will not happen, never will happen and does not exist. Fairytales are simply to bluff kids into believing how pure and how good the world and people are. All are just pack of lies deceiving every single individual. I hate the way I am now and I detest the feelings. Heck care and WT*!!!

Updates
Saturday, November 1, 2008 @ at

Haven't been blogging for some time. Kinda busy and lazy and also dunno what to update. Met up with Yvonne and went to look for Bun Bun to collect my shoes and stuff. Met Yvonne twice this week, once on Thursday and once yesterday. Didn't see her since our ROM and missed those days whereby we would hang out more often and go out together shopping etc.

Dearie bought me my bday present last night. It was very early to get me the present as my bday is in Dec. He was letting me decide what I would want. Either I get the thing now or wait till April 09 to have something else. Well, after some long thinking and dilemma, I opted to have the gift now. Guess what Dearie bought for me?

Well... drums roll... it was... it was... it was... A COACH BAG!!!

12680_bkhad_a0_front 12680_bkhad_a1_side 12680_bkhad_a2_back

*The actual colour is different from what was seen on the internet. The handles of mine is brown and the charms are in silver colour. Here is how mine looks...

DSC01785 DSC01787 DSC01793  DSC01788

Hehe... cost my poor Dearie quite a few hundreds wor. I felt bad that he spent so much on buying me presents. Dearie didn't hesitate to pay and told me to choose what I like. He left the decision making to me. He wanted to bring me to a holiday trip next year as my bday gift but we couldn't decide where to head to. Was thinking of Bangkok, Hong Kong, Taiwan or Vietnam. My friends were asking me to opt for holiday trip as I could easily get other things I like overseas. I did think of that but then again... when you go for holiday, you get to see and explore foreign places. However, you need to spend to buy things and end up, your things might not be around to last throughout. It will be in memory and only thing is that you can say you have been to and seen the place. Having a bag is different. I get to use it, carry it, keep it around and it will be handy for quite a couple of years! I won't have to spend more than the amount as compared to going to holiday. Guess this is partly why I hardly travel ba... I also dunno. Wahaha...

In any case, I am loving my present. It's my first Coach bag and it's from my Dearie, 我的老公。Handling it with super lots of care. Still felt bad that he had spent so much on my present. Yvonne commented that my presents seemed to get more and more expensive each time. Started with Camera and photo printer, Ipod Touch, Bangkok trip, Diamond Pendant and now Coach Bag. Haiz... didn't mean to let Dearie to spend so much on me. Knows that he loves me with all his heart and will want to see me happy. I also want him to be a happy man too. Promise to try my best to save for the customary. No more presents for Xmas and Valentine's day... it's perfectly fine as I have him... the biggest and most priceless present in my life. Muakz!!! 很爱很爱我的老公!
