Another day of CNY + Mini Shopping

According to the Solar calendar, today is the 1st day of Spring, AKA 1st day of CNY. Learnt this from the fengshui talk I attended weeks again. On this day, Master Lynn Yap asked us to wear red top and also go and bank in money to our own bank account. It could be cash deposit or cheque. As long as it’s money into our own bank account. This is for us to have wealth and money throughout the year.
Well, first time I hear this and decided to give it a try. The red top got to be brand new and unwashed. I dressed up nice nice and went to deposit my ang bao money via cash deposit @ Sembawang MRT before heading to work. Collin and Yvonne were in red today as well and also went to deposit money. Hehe… We all decided to give it a try and see if Master Lynn Yap is correct abt this theory. In any case, since it’s considered the 1st day of CNY, no harm wearing red also. :)
After work, went to Bugis to meet up with Jayne. Along the way, rain came but luckily it was not super heavy. Didn’t bring any umbrella with me lor. Ganna a bit of drizzle. I wanted to go over to Bugis Village to walk walk and thot that it’s gone case due to the rain. However, after I met Jayne, the rain stopped and we were able to make our way across. Didn’t have dinner first cos we want to have more time for shopping first. Jayne just ate crispy pancake from Jollibean and we made our move over.
Was looking for bottoms / dresses. Gone to Lavender Closet but there wasn’t much selection. Was told that there were be new stocks coming next week. Being told to go down then to have a look. While walking around, something caught my eye among the stalls. I was looking for a bag few days again and almost bought 1 from Bata. Luckily never buy. A store has some unique designs of their bags (IMO) and one of the bags caught my attention. Walked over and tried the bag. Quite nice. Bargained a little bit and got the bag. The sales person said that this bag was printed in Hong Kong and brought back to SG to sell. It’s one of the latest design. The design reminded me of the laptop skins from Garskin. Looking nice nice and unique with the designs. I showed Dearie the pic of the bag and he also agreed that it’s nice. Hehe… Going to start using tomorrow! Wahaha…
Went back to Bugis Junction to continue shopping for the rest of the night. Jayne bought some clothes and accessories while I got a pair of shorts from BHG. It was on sale. Original price was $23.90 but now selling @ $9.90. Haha… not a bad deal to me. I can wear when I stay @ Dearie’s place. :)
After our shopping, we couldn’t decide what to eat. It was almost 9pm and some of the shops dun really have much food left. Anyway, we were still quite full and decided to eat Ya Kun instead. Chat and ate the kaya toast while waiting for Albert to come and fetch us. Jayne got Albert to give me a lift home. Hehe… she is always so nice to me. Always enjoy going out with her as we could really talk and talk and talk. Going to arrange steamboat @ her place with MJ session. She will let me know the date again when confirmed. Looking forward!
Changed my blogskin again. My last skin had some problems and the pics could not be loaded properly. Think this one is simple and nice ba. I like the look of it. What do u all think?
