Day 2:
Made a mistake abt the timing in HCMC. Didn’t realise that my HP timing was based on Vietnam timing already and I was still thinking that it’s SG time. SG is 1 hour ahead of HCMC and when I set my alarm clock, I kept thinking that it was based on SG time. Was supposed to be at the lobby eating breakfast at 9.30am but me and Dearie got up late. When my mum called us at 6am, I was still wondering why she called us up so early lor. Breakfast was till 10am and luckily when we headed down, there were still some food left for us to eat. The bread there is different from SG and very very delicious. The lemon juice also tasted so so different. I wanted to have extra cup but no more liao. Only managed to drink 1 cup lor.
Jayne was busy talking to her biz associate and we got to wait for her till 12+pm before heading out to shop again. Hotel has free wifi and me and Dearie brought our lappys along. The hotel also has computers down at the lobby for customers / visitors to use. Was at lobby playing a while until we decided that the wait was too long. Went back to the room to play our lappys while waiting for Jayne. My mum headed back to room to watch tv.
Poor Jayne did not manage to eat any breakfast and we headed straight for lunch before going shopping again. Jayne brought us to Red House to eat buffet. Super cheap and nice lor. Imagine… $8.80+++ per pax (in SGD) and you having zhi cha in Restaurant. Where to find? Red House is operated by Singaporeans and we can see Singapore flag hanging inside the place. Wahaha… nice… :)

Headed back to the Market to do more shopping. Bought a lot of tibits again besides some of the souveniers, t-shirts, shoes, bags, etc. etc… Hehe… Went back to hotel room to put those things and freshen up before we go walk again in night market and then dinner. Headed to Lion City restaurant which is near to our hotel. Haha… as the name suggested, operated by Singaporean. Ate local food at cheap cheap prices. Jayne knows the boss there and he was super friendly. Knows how to do business cos saw the way he talked to other customers. Good knowledge in different cultures. More pics to show!
